Sleeve
This
sleeve design represents the industry’s most reliable, highest quality
sleeve at an economical price. Standard lengths include 60mm and 40mm.
Sleeves come standard with a clear outer tube
for viewing the color of the fiber itself.
Dielectric Sleeve
Dielectric
sleeves use a non-metallic central strength member. These sleeves offer
the ultimate splice protection with reduced shrink time and resistance to
corrosion and electricity.
Slim Sleeve
Available
in clear and colored versions, these sleeves use reduced diameter
components for a smaller finished product. The smaller diameter allows
users to fit more splices in existing splice trays.
Mini
Sleeve
Mini
sleeves are designed to fit smaller width splice trays while still
accommodating both 250um and 900um fibers. In addition, its small size and
smaller diameter strength member also reduce shrink time to a mere 30-50
seconds.
Micro Sleeve
The
smallest in the industry, this sleeve is designed for use in splitter and
coupler packages. Made for only 250um fiber, this lightweight sleeve will
also shrink in just 30-45 seconds.
Ribbon Sleeve
FMS
offers two ribbon sleeve styles: dual strength member and single strength
member. The dual strength member design eliminates any undue stress on the
ribbon, creating a perfectly flat exit for the ribbon. Available with a
combination of quartz and polyetherimide strength members, three styles
give users economical choices. Industry standard single strength member
sleeves are available with quartz or polyetherimide strength members. |
