FOUR CHANNEL VIDEO MULTIPLEXER

Math Fiber Optics  Four Channel Video Multiplexer transmits four separate color or black and white video signals (in any combination) in accordance with NTSC, PAL or SECAM specifications at distances up to 12 miles or 20 km (single mode).

Appropriate for use with single mode or multimode fiber, this Four Channel Video Multiplexer system consists of a transmitter and receiver, both of which utilize FDM techniques to assure superb transmitted image quality.

Integral LEDs are provided for each channel on both the transmitter and the receiver to continuously indicate the presence of video signals and proper operation of the unit.   Built in power supplies allow the units to operate from low voltage AC or DC sources, providing unparalleled versatility in a  fiber optic transmission system.

An MCR-1000A card-cage compatible version of each unit is available by adding the "/MCR" suffix to the respective part number.  These units occupy one slot in the MCR-1000A rack mountable card-cage.  A maximum of 6 FX or FR-5750's may be used with other units in MCR-1000A
When using the FX/FR-5750 in the MCR-1000A rack enclosure, it is important to be aware that the power dissipated by these units may  raise the local ambient temperature beyond normally expected values.  As a result, be certain to allow adequate ventilation, especially when using these units in areas with restricted air flow.
